Terms of Service

Welcome to Forge ("Forge", "we", "us", or "our"), a backend-as-a-service platform operated by Root Lindow. By creating an account or using the Forge website, APIs, or related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use Forge. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us at contact@forgeconsole.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

2. The Service

Forge lets you create databases, define tables, and expose auto-generated REST and GraphQL APIs you can call from your own applications. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Free, Pro and Teams plans are subject to the usage limits described in your account settings.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Forge to store or transmit unlawful, infringing, harmful, or malicious content;
• Reverse-engineer, overload, or probe the Service for vulnerabilities outside coordinated disclosure;
• Resell, sublicense, or operate Forge as a competing service;
• Send unsolicited communications or spam through Forge;
• Process special categories of personal data without a lawful basis and appropriate safeguards.

4. Your Content

You retain all rights to the data you store on Forge ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, copy, transmit and display Your Content solely to operate the Service. We do not sell Your Content, and we do not use it to train AI models.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans (Pro, Teams) are billed monthly in advance through our merchant of record, Paddle.com Market Ltd. By subscribing you authorize Paddle to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Prices are in USD and exclusive of taxes, which Paddle collects where required. We may change prices on 30 days' notice; changes do not affect the current billing period.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel anytime from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then. See our Refund Policy for refund eligibility.

7. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, exceed plan limits without upgrading, or if continued service would expose us to legal risk. You may delete your account at any time from /account.

8. Disclaimers

Forge is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Forge's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Istanbul, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
